The Istituto Comprensivo Arenella (www.arenella.org) is located in the suburbs of Palermo, a big town in Sicily.

It was born in 2000/2001 joining two different schools: “Arenella” primary and infant school (born in 1961) and the lower secondary school of the area, located both in the districts of “ Vergine Maria”  and “Arenella”.

Nowadays there are about 700 pupils aged 3/14 and around 100 teachers.

It comprises several buildings:
